Nightlife
Try your luck at one of the Sun City casinos. In Sun City Hotel there is the Sun City Casino and in the Entertainment Centre you will find the Jungle Casino. There are numerous bars and restaurants around Sun City to suit any tastes and styles of dress you might be interested in.

A unique bar and restaurant is The Shebeen. Shebeens are actually illegal bars in South Africa, usually in residential areas where they won’t be too easily spotted. Sun City recreated the idea of a fun get-together and uncomplicated meeting place in The Shebeen by the Cabanas Hotel. The appeal of modest prices and a place without pretence might be just what you need to really let go.
Sun City has a nightclub on the top floor of the Entertainment Centre called Silhouette that's open from 23:00 on weekends and the eve of public holidays. Dress is smart-casual.
For everyone
A famous Sun City attraction is the Valley of the Waves wave pool and there are also pools at each hotel. The entertainment centre is the place to shop, play arcade games, watch a movie or eat out.
The resort has two golf courses, the Gary Player Country Club and the Lost City Golf Course. For ultimate relaxation, there are two health spas.

For a culture injection, there is the Motseng cultural village within walking distance from the hotels. Here you can learn more about the eight main tribes of South Africa with reflections of cultures, traditions, architecture, dress and regalia. Share in an African meal, drumming and take home handmade traditional art and crafts.
Sports
and adventure

Play golf at Sun City on one of the hotel's prestigious golf courses. The Gary Player Country was built with the advice of the professional golfer himself on the landscape of an extinct volcano. Two minutes' drive from the Gary Player Country Club you can find the Lost City Country Club.

A
paradise for children
For children there is a lot to do and Cabanas is the most child-friendly hotel at Sun City. There are baby-sitters available and a range of activities for kids. Children can visit the Animal Farm, take part in a fully supervised programme of fun activities at Kwena’s Castle, go to the Crocodile Farm to learn about crocodiles and even feed them or the aviary and play in the playground.

The Sinela steam train rides are a favourite for kids. Winding past the Aviary, Cabanas Hotel and over a part of the Sun City lake, this is a scenic route and the train is pure bliss for younger ones.
Wildlife

The Pilanesberg National Park is right next to Sun City, which will delight game viewers as it is home to the Big 5. We can arrange game drives for individuals and private groups. You can also see the reserve by hot air balloon or perched on an elephant’s back!

Predator World is home to cheetahs, tigers, hyenas, lions and leopards. You can even touch a cheetah and learn more about all the amazing predators they have here. Don’t expect a true wildlife experience though. In the wild, most of these animals would be skittish and very dangerous.

Read more on our Pilanesberg Wildlife Adventures page. There is so much to do at the Pilanesberg National Park! Companies interested in team building will be happy to know about the Team Building at Pilanesberg.
